We had Jack's Baby Dedication at church today. It is us asking our church family to hold us accountable and help us along in raising Jack in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Ambree was only 3weeks old at her dedication, and I remember being concerned that she might cry while we were up on stage in front of the congregation. She didn't steal the show back then, but she tried to today! She had a lovey with her, that we mistakingly allowed her to take on stage. While Pastor Juan was dedicating the three babies and their families, Ambree threw her stuffed toy toward Pastor Juan! Most people saw and laughed, including Pastor Juan, who picked it up and pretended to not give it back. My heart started to race a little as I pictured Ambree throwing herself on the ground because her lovey was 'stolen' from her! But Pastor Juan in all of his partenting expertise, gave the animal back before any more drama occured. Jack slept quietly in his sling, only is little toes showing.
